Jacques Lassaigne 'Les Vignes de Montgueux' Extra Brut Rose, Champagne, France Famille Dutraive The GrecanicoThis cuve is Emmanuel Lassaignes chalk driven ros from Montgueux, built on old vine Chardonnay for line and finesse with a small portion of Pinot Noir vinified as red for color and red fruit lift. Fermentations are spontaneous, levage rests partly in older barrels on fine lees, and the wine is bottled with minimal intervention and a very low dosage in an Extra Brut style. The profile is precise and drythink raspberry, vine peach, and wild strawberry
