LAVAU GIGONDAS RHONE FRANCE 2016 Red Blend THE MATSUI WHISKY SINGLE MALTThis Gigondas is a blend of old Grenache (50%), Syrah (40%), and Mourvdre (10%) vines that were hand harvested from steep, north facing, terraced hillsides on fairly poor, calcareous marl soils at the foot of the famous Dentelles de Montmirail. 55% of the wine is aged in vat, while the rest in 450 L barrels that were used for 1 or 2 vintages.
