A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic Dasher participated in Operation TorchIn blackened copper, maker marked "ELLIS BROS. TORONTO" on the reverse, measuring 47 mm (w) x 46. 7 mm (h), both lugs intact, the obverse missing its blackening finish but remains intact on the reverse, the obverse with residue evident in the recessed areas from cleaning, better than very fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Toronto, Ontario under the authority of G. O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed August 9, 1916
