ABD Engineering & Design worked with SRG Partnership to help create an inviting Development Services and Permitting Center right off the Hillsboro Civic Center main lobby 4th floor entrance. It’s a hub of activity where multiple departments engage with a variety of visitors from the business and residential communities.
ABD’s acoustics recommendations included wall-types to address noise isolation and room acoustics details for finishes, square footage, and locations. Our AV designs addressed the infrastructure and systems for the large video wall behind the main desk, and multiple conference rooms (8-24 persons) all supporting MS Teams with identical functionality. While the City had previously standardized on Logi hardware, these spaces required better audio performance and coverage beyond Logi’s capabilities. So, ABD worked with the City to develop an updated standard.
