Conference and Event Center

ABD Engineering & Design worked with Ghafari Associates to renovate the existing conference and event facility into this new state of the art experience center. The Ford EXP includes a large grand hall, rotunda theater and cafe along with a variety of conference rooms and collaboration spaces throughout.

ABD’s scope of services included acoustical testing on site to benchmark the existing room’s performances and used that data to match and improve the room acoustics. Our recommendations included acoustical finishes that added to and enhanced the aesthetic created by the architect. Meanwhile, our mechanical noise control recommendations achieved clear results to reduce the background noise in the grand hall and multiple conference rooms.
