Ghafari Associates engaged ABD Engineering & Design to address the acoustical needs of the Rock Ventures headquarters. The HQ space is shared by over 100 different companies, all under one umbrella. It includes open and closed offices, collaboration spaces, a luxurious boardroom, and a corporate auditorium.
The magnificent spiral staircase in the central atrium is both visually stunning and acoustically challenging. Along with room acoustics, ABD’s services included mechanical noise control and noise isolation, especially important for the maker spaces with difficult adjacencies.
