ABD Engineering & Design worked with Tower Pinkster on the Stryker Instruments Division laboratory and workspaces building to provide complete acoustical consulting (Room Acoustics, Noise Isolation, and Mechanical Noise Control) and vibration analysis.
The research and development center is home to technical staff plus sales and marketing, bringing them together under one roof for the first time. The central atrium doubles as presentation space for 175 people, while glass conference rooms, Wellbeing fitness facilities, treadmill desks, phone booths and quiet rooms, cafeteria and coffee bars, and an experience center supplement the collaborative workspaces.
Acoustically designed to meet LEED Silver criteria, ABD also provided vibration isolation for the lab spaces in preparation for sensitive equipment.
