ABD Engineering and Design worked with Rockford Construction to provide noise and impact isolation evaluation of the existing 90+ year-old structure. Our professional engineers performed STC and IIC field tests throughout the existing structure and made recommendations for the new construction. Our recommendations included wall and floor/ceiling construction materials and methods to meet the exacting standards for condominium residents, along with apartments and retail. We followed up with site visits and testing to help meet the targets during and after construction.
